Our Story

Wet Art , a non profit for the benefit of children was established in 2012. Our first event was an art show presenting artwork made from the wetsuits of local surfers. Hence the name Wet Art. 32 artists were given the wetsuits of 32 surfers age 12-72 and each artist created something different. The pieces were auctioned and the funds were donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Cruz and Spring Forward for Cancer. Last year funds raised in Kauai were donated to the Waipa Foundation and Nana’s house in Waimea Kauai, home for families in transition. The board of Wet Art has decided to fund a scholarship so that individuals or groups can apply for specific needs.
